Degree Description

UW Colleges Online offers the Associate of Arts and Science (AAS) degree, a broad-based liberal arts degree. This degree provides the foundation for most majors in the UW System and is accepted by University of Wisconsin institutions as fulfillment of the university-wide, college, school and general education breadth requirements. The degree may not fulfill certain proficiency, major and/or program-specific requirements. The online AAS degree, established in June 2001, can be completed by taking all courses online. As a student, it is your responsibility to be familiar with the contents of the UW Colleges Catalog which contains information about policies, procedures, degree requirements, and course descriptions.
