Checklist for Fall Success

Get Course Materials

Start planning for what course materials you may need. What textbooks are required? Are there technology requirements? Professors often list any other materials required for their class ahead of time.

Figure out Semester Goals

What do you want to accomplish this semester? Is boosting your GPA a goal? Do you want to feel challenged in your courses? Do you want to explore a new area of study? By thinking about your academic goals ahead of time, you will be on track to achieving them!

Write Important Dates in Planner

Stay ahead of your schedule before the semester gets hectic. Write down important dates such as semester breaks and financial aid deadlines.

Make a Bucket List

Along with being successful academically, it’s important to make the most of your college days! In your bucket list, write down all of the things you want to do before you graduate. Places you want to visit, courses you want to take and fun activities you want to try are all great things to add to your list.

Organize Your Space

Use what’s left of summer to get organized. Get rid of any unnecessary papers or notes that are collecting dust. Get your workspace in order, so you’re ready to learn.
