What is Professional Health Pathways?

UW Colleges Online offers Professional Health Pathways to get students started on their healthcare careers. This program is designed for future physicians, pharmacists, veterinarians, physician assistants, dentists and others interested in pursuing health related fields.

How do Professional Health Pathway courses work?

How do Professional Health Pathway courses work?

Coursework within the program is divided into two parts:

  1. A set of foundational liberal arts and mathematics courses that can be taken entirely online.
  2. A series of hybrid laboratory science courses that require in-person, on-campus laboratory study.

Hybrid laboratory courses allow students to thrive off of the flexibility of lectures that are entirely online while also getting hands-on experience during in person labs. The labs occur over two weekend sessions during the term on a UW College campus.
