Academic Advising

Exam Proctoring

As a student, you may be asked to take a proctored exam using a remote proctoring service embedded within  your online courses. Exam proctoring operates with the same sense of convenience as accessing your courses online – you have the ability to take your exams most anytime. Keep in mind that not every exam in every course requires a proctor.  Your course instructor will specify when a proctor is required.

Library Services

In order for you to be successful at UW College Courses Online, most courses require that you purchase or rent textbooks and other learning materials.

UW College Courses Online works directly with eFollett, an online textbook vendor, to carry UW College Courses Online course textbooks. The UW College Courses Online bookstore is your one-stop shop for textbooks, course materials, school supplies and more.

The UW College Courses Online bookstore lists course materials using the UWCCO course number. Students should refer to the course crosswalk for their home campus to ensure that they are purchasing the correct books for their course(s). Please contact your Student Success Coach at the phone number and email below with questions.  

If you decide to order through a different vendor, you will need to make sure that you order the correct books with the correct ISBNs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that you receive the textbooks on time to begin your coursework when the semester begins – remember that holiday shipping times may affect how quickly you can receive your books as well. Instructors are under no obligation to make any accommodations for students who have not obtained course materials prior to the beginning of the semester. It is in your best interest to be as prepared for your semester as possible; please take advantage of this early notice and get those books on order!
