UW Colleges Online can help with free, online career resources that can take your academic achievements and connect you with the right job opportunities. 


A comprehensive career exploration and planning website, CareerLocker specializes in opportunities within the state of Wisconsin. You’ll find comprehensive information on over 1,100 careers, links to more than 3,400 school/college websites and applications, and information on more than 800 programs of study. The site also features profiles on Wisconsin employers, direct links to job postings in America's Job Bank, a résumé design and cover letter writing program, and more.

Here’s how UW Colleges Online students can access CareerLocker:

  • Visit the Create a New Account page of the CareerLocker website.
  • Enter the registration code: coo-c639.
  • Create an account with your own username and password and then click Login.

As a UW Colleges Online student, you have free access to career development video courses and tutorials through Here’s how you can access your resources:

  • Visit
  • Click Log in at the top right of the page.
  • The Log in window will pop up. Click Organization login near the top and then enter in the box that says: Or, enter your organization's URL to log in through their portal. Click Go.
  • You will be redirected to the UW Colleges Log in page.
  • Enter your full UW Colleges email address and password and then click LOG IN. 

Once logged in to, you can find career development (and other) materials under Subject.
